This Month & This Year

Here I am. Today, I actually have a few minutes to blog for the first time in a long time.

We have been very busy with Christmas, family visiting, and for the last 2 weeks, my Winter Intercession class. I have had a really wonderful holiday season. I will probably be blogging a little less frequently from here until May, because of school. I only have one more week of this intercession class, but then the spring semester starts about a week after that. I'm moving forward, and that's what's important.

This year was amazing. Here are some highlights:
- Kicked off 2011 in Tennessee for a snowy vacation in the mountains.
- On March 23rd, 2011, my baby girl was born!!
- Kept on truckin' through my classes at UL Lafayette with online courses.
- Went back to blogging.
- Saw many prayers get answered.
- Moved into a bigger house.
- And finally, the big news...
Kyle got an offer for a new job!!!!

This job is most definitely an answer to prayers. He will start training in 2 weeks.
Good-bye 2011, hello 2012!!!

A Little Breathing Room

This week is the end of the semester, and I am gonna have a little time to chill before my Winter Intercession class in 2 weeks.  I had an appointment with a surgeon today, because JM has a cyst on his head.  We thought he was going to need surgery, but today's appointment brought great news.  He won't need a surgery after all.  I thank God for this.  I am so glad we won't be spending the holidays at the hospital.

We are all moved into our new place.  There are some things that still need to be put away, but it's manageable.  Hopefully, this week we'll turn this house into a home.

In other news, I returned to facebook... dun dun DUUUUUUNNNN.  Yep, I missed the people.  So, I caved and got back on.

This weekend, assuming that our babysitting situation is good, we'll be attending a church Christmas party and a work Christmas party.  Lots of fun and a much-needed break from the kiddos.

I posted a few new pics today here, btw: Christmas Season 1.

Season's Greetings!
