Ugh! This week has been difficult. We came back from Texas for JM's birthday, and the boys are a bit spoiled. It happens a little every time they go see relatives, but this visit was a birthday party. That makes it even worse.
JM has been more difficult this week, but S got spoiled as well. People keep giving them both gifts when one of them has a birthday. I know that one day that will probably come back to haunt someone, and that someone will most likely be me. One way or another, the boys will have to learn that everyone has their day. And, we don't always get gifts when someone else has their day. It's a nice thought that people care so much about my kids, though. The boys are very blessed.
I was supposed to start the boys back into their "school time" this week, but things have been so crazy that it's been hard getting back into the swing of things. But, for those of you that don't know, they aren't even school-age yet, so it isn't a big deal. I just want to prepare them for what's to come, so I do a few short sessions of "school time" with them during the week. Real school will start next year for JM. He will be in kindergarten, and I am going to attempt homeschooling. I will probably have S follow along and see how he does. He is noticeably advanced for his age, but I won't push him to do anything he isn't truly ready for.
Speaking of school, my class at UL started this week. I am doing it online, so it shouldn't be too difficult.
I am so ready for the weekend. Saturday, I am taking the kids for pictures. I got a special email offer from the Wal-Mart portrait studio. Supposedly, it is going to be a $50 deal on a package valued at $200. I guess I will see when I get there.
Tomorrow makes 2 weeks since I started the diet, and I will post an update on the Broomsticks page then.
I have new stuff up on my other pages as well:
JM's Texas Birthday, Kristen Schluter Photography, and How Can I Be A Blessing (Remodeling My Life For Christ)
