The Kindness of Strangers

I went to run errands today and brought the kids.  Of course we are in Sam's and JM has to go potty really bad.  I told him to hold it until we could get out of there, but, in the checkout line, he kept asking to go.  I felt bad, but I had the boys in the basket with R's infant seat.  I didn't even think it would be possible to take him there.

The lady in the line next to me volunteered to watch S and R for me while I took JM.  The lady in front of me helped, too.  I know it's crazy to trust a total stranger these days, but I WAS in Sam's.  There are cameras all over, and you have to stand in another line just to get out the door.  So, I ran him to the restroom, which was actually nearby.  We were back in a jiffy.  I just sanitized his hands when we got back to the cart, because I keep a sanitizer bottle in my purse.

Wow!  What a nice thing she did for me!  It's so nice to know that even in this day and age there are still kind-hearted people out there.
